Visual Language

Photography is my visual language to write essays about light and blacks, essays about my perception of a place, essays about the rendering of light and about the deepness of blacks. Sometimes the blacks are the image for me, more often they just emphasize the light.

For me it’s about rendering the world I see and feel. The emotions I have got into the negative of the image, the emotions I remember add up to the rendering of the final image. Hence each final picture on paper or on your screen is the result of different stages of interpretation.

Since the world presents itself differently from day to day, perceived and transformed by changing moods and contexts, I use a set of aesthetics and photographic means to properly express what I want to say.
