It’s such a silent picture for me, but that dead palm in San Pedro was far from silent in reality. Birds turned the palm into a lively fountain of excitement and joy, at least that was the feeling I got listening to the birds and watching that palm tree glowing in wonderful light and backed by a deep-blue sky.
