Essays: Spain 2016

Studies of light and architecture in northern Spain, 2016. Hand-printed by myself in lith printing technique on Fomatone MG 131 paper.

This trip was very much about architecture, seeing buildings by Frank O. Gehry (in Bilbao and - surprise - in the Rioja wine region), Santiago Calatrava (Oviedo) or Oscar Niemeyer (Avilés). From all those modern buildings, contrasted with architecture of cathedrals and bullfighting places, what impressed me the most was the Centro Niemeyer.
