Essays: Blacks & Light
Warm light emphasized and formed by blacks – blacks that structure the image, blacks that make that light shine even brighter in my perception. Light that’s white only in the brightest areas, otherwise warm und colored.
The 5 pictures are meant as a photographic essay dealing with the Blacks & Light aesthetics. They serve as a point of departure for viewers of the current exhibition. Obviously they are examples of the visual language but at the same time those five pictures are defining a visual space wherein the exhibition pictures have their coordinates.
